On the Monday, after Ashley and RJ’s first adventure, it was time to head back to school. They had English together in first period, and RJ sat behind Ashley as he does every morning. She said nothing to him as he walked past. As the period dragged on, RJ continued to wonder why Ashley hadn’t said a word. Right when the bell rang to end the period, Ashley dropped a folded up piece of paper on RJ’s books, and walked out of the room, just like nothing had happened between them, and they were just the friends that they had been for the past couple of years.

RJ took the note and stuffed it into his pocket. When he made it to study hall in second period, he opened it up and read it quickly. The note read as follows: RJ, Keep our evening of fun on the down low. Let’s keep our relationship a secret until the dance on Friday. Pick me up at 7. Ashley

RJ, continued on with his day, and did as the note instructed. He kept everything a secret. When his buddy, Dave asked him whom he was going to the dance with, he replied, he wanted it to be a surprise. Dave jokingly told him that he probably didn’t have a date, but let the topic die at that.

Friday rolled around, and RJ and Ashley both arrived at school about the same time. It wasn’t like Ashley to be running so late, as she was usually at class before everyone else, and RJ was typically rushing to make it to class before the bell. Ashley quickly asked, “the plans still good with you.”
RJ replied, “Yes, as long as they are with you.”
Ashley said, “Great see you at 7, and don’t worry, tonight will be great,” as she tried to hide the grin on her face.

Seven rolled around, and Ashley was not ready when RJ arrived, but Ashley’s dad ushered him in. After making some small talk, Ashley and her mother walked down the stairs, and Ashley’s dad told them to have a great night.

When they reached RJ’s car, Ashley said lets go have a great time. As they night progressed they continued to dance and they were the talk of the dance. Dave came up later in the night and apologized for being such an idiot on Tuesday, and doubting RJ’s abilities. Ashley then said that she had to run to the ladies room, but she quickly grabbed her friend, Carly, and told Carly to keep RJ company for awhile.

Carly was a member of the schools cheer squad. She was about 3 inches shorter than RJ but she had high heels on which made her almost as tall as RJ. She has red hair, and bright blue eyes. When Ashley got back she asked, “My parents are flying out in about 20 minutes, after the dance do we want to meet back at my place and have some fun, just the three of us.”

RJ was a little disappointed, thinking that this was not going to be “fun” like Ashley and he had last time. He danced away the rest of the night, and they all headed back to Ashley’s after the dance. When Carly arrived, they started to drink a little bit, and they were all getting a little tipsy.
